Bernard's Star
I chose this star because it is the brightest star in the constellation Pisces. Also, not only is it one of the brightest stars in the night sky, it has also been used as one of the anchor points for all other star classification. Another unique fact about Fomalhaut is that it is the third brightest star, after Pollux and the Sun, to have a planetary system.
