Bernard's Star
I have chose this particular star because it is one of the next targets for a study on unmanned travel to nearby star systems. Other than this, it has been the target of many other interesting things. One fact includes that it was the subject of a multitude of controversy surrounding the subject of what was surrounding it. They have made a conclusion that although no gas planet is in orbit around it, like some thought, there is still the possibility of small terrestrial planets still exists.
