Today in the quiz there were many questions that were extremely tricky. This is because they were worded in a very different way than we have been doing so previously, they required more thought.
Throughout the quiz there were multiple different concepts that were covered. One of the things that showed up frequently was having to name polyatomic ions. Although this is review, it is sometimes hard to remember. Here is a link to a quizlet site with all of the ones that are needed to be remembered:

Another thing that was needed for the quiz was the ability to name hydrates and identify them. Here is a link to an explanation to the nomenclature of hydrates as well as an interactive quiz: http://www.chem.purdue.edu/gchelp/nomenclature/hydrates_2009.htm
*when naming the amount of water molecules in a hydrate, remember to use the prefixes*
Kendall, thanks for adding the link to the quizlet site! I will need a good review of the polyatomic ions before the test and your link will be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteAgreed with Bri, thanks for all the review you included on this post! These problems are tricky as is, so forgetting the foundations would only cause them to be trickier. Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteThe quizlet link was very helpful when i was studying for the unit test we took today. I'm glad that I had a good study tool to use for the test.
